Taarifa zinaeleza kuwa uongozi wa klabu ya Yanga umewaandikia barua TFF kuwaomba kujitoa katika mashindano ya Kagame CUP yanayotarajiwa kuanza June 28 mpaka Julai 13 2018 jijini Dar es Salaam.
Sababu za msinngi zilizofikia Yanga kuandika barua hiyo ni kufanya maandalizi ya michunao ya Kombe la Shirikisho Afrika ambapo watacheza na Gor Mahia FC ya Kenya, Julai 18 jijini Nairobi.
Kutokana na muingiliano wa ratiba ya KAGAME na CAF, Yanga wameona ni vema kuwapatia wachezaji wao mapumziko ili kuwapa fursa ya kujiandaa vizuri kuelekea mechi hiyo ambayo itakuwa ni ya tatu baada ya kucheza na USM Alger pia Rayon Sports ya Rwanda.
Taarifa hizo zinazoelezwa kutoka Yanga kupitia viongozi wa Kamati ya Utendaji wa klabu hiyo, wameazimia kufanya maamuzi hayo ili kuepuka kubanwa na muingiliano wa ratiba hiyo ambayo imekuwa si rafiki kwao.
Kufuatia kuandika barua hiyo ya kuomba kujiondoa, Yanga wanakuwa wameikwepa Simba kwenye mashindano ambapo walikuwa wamepangwa pamoja na mabingwa hao wa Ligi Kuu Vodacom.
Simba na Yanga zimepangwa pamoja kwenye kundi C ambapo kuna timu zingine ambazo ni Dakadaha ya Somalia pamoja na St. George kutoka Ethiopia.

despite the fact that YOUNG AFRICANS is in hard situation right now, but we cant escape the truth that , both president and his GS are funs of SIMBA sc, it was not expected to put both YOUNG AFRICANS and SIMBA SC in the same group,and that was never ever happened even before, so at my side i do congratulate YOUNG AFRICANS LEADERS for their decision because it will give the team enough time for their preparations, so saying YOUNG AFRICANS is avoiding SIMBA tha is non sense and those who have gone to school will understand why leaders are doing that, but those with small mind will keep on complain....FOREVER FORWARD BACK NEVER.
DeleteMy friend, I dispute your arguments. TFF President and GS being members of Simba SC has nothing to do with the decision of the respective CECAFA Committee which decided on the groupings. Yang and Simba being put in One group is only disadvantaging the country Tanzania because it will mean we will have to remain with the winner either Yanga or Simba after they clash one another but it does not mean Yanga or Simba have been treated unfairly. This is football my friend why do you cry foul for Yanga being put in the same group as Simba? Why? Yanga has the right to decide to withdraw from the tournament based on the fact that they truly may need more time to prepare for their Africa Cup engagements, rightly so, but not on the petty excuses that you try to put forward, absolutely no basis. Lets not unfairly condemn TFF officials for issues (not mistakes)that are non-issues and are basically CECAFA matters.

DeleteThe withdrawal of yanga from this tournament is a joke. They need more playing time to sort out their performance chaos. IMO, they neen this tournament, but I guess they’re not ready to play against Simba. Otherwise they would have participated. Condemning TFF for the same is unprofessional, Simba is a team like other teams.
DeleteThere is no valid reasons for Young Africans Sc's withdrawal.....Why no one have heard that Gor Mahia and Rayon FC who also are in CAF Group stages have taken that route? Unless otherwise, Yanga should remain in the tournaments
